Education

The University of Tampa

Marketing

I chose The University of Tampa because as a business major it was important to me that I would be receiving a valuable education and the Sykes College of Business is AACSB Accredited and ranked a top 25 value business school.

Public Relations

Public Relations is my favorite aspect of marketing which is why I chose it as my minor. I wanted to set myself apart from other marketing students and focus on my creativity and writing skills through my additional courses.

Community

I wanted to be involved in my college community and UT gives me this opportunity. I have an on-campus job as a mentor and am a member and leader of various different organizations that have allowed me to expand my network and contribute to my overall college experience.

Location

As someone who grew up in San Diego I knew I had to prioritze weather when deciding on where to go to college. Tampa was perfect for me not just because it is sunny year round but also because of the campus location. In my opinion, UT is in the best spot of the city, offering easy access to downtown, the river, as well as being close to so many companies eager to hire.

Involvement

Being an active member of my community is important to me which is why I have gotten involved on campus throughout my time at UT. I am a member of the American Marketing Association, Delta Gamma, Never Alone UT, and Unified Sports Special Olympics.
